With standards for supermarkets rising and customers no longer willing to accept anything but the freshest products, Amish Market has taken these issues to heart. Generic merchandise served in a drab atmosphere is no longer good enough for people who have a genuine diversity of options for buying their groceries. This is why New York’s fine food lovers have made Amish Market one of the most popular grocery stores in the city.
There is no horse and buggy here, but many of the products still do come straight from Amish sellers in Lancaster, Pa. But that’s not all, because Amish Market is committed to being a one-stop shop for any and all of your food needs. And that includes special niches such as wheat- or gluten-free food, as well as a variety of deli-style sandwiches, salads, pizzas and more for lunch and dinner. So next time you think of ordering food, think of ordering from Amish Market.
Honey Turkey Sandwich—With brie, peppers, green apple and lettuce
Amish Grilled Chicken Wrap—Grilled chicken, avocado, green leaf lettuce, roasted peppers, onions and special sauce
New York Combo Panini—Pastrami, corned beef, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, mustard and house dressing
Quattro Formaggi Pizza—With Pecorino Romano, parmesan, provolone and fresh mozzarella
Rigatoni Bolognese—With homemade meat sauce
Lamb Shish Kebab Plate—Served with two sides

My food has so far taken an hour and 40 minutes (and counting). Terrible service; my coworkers and I have had similar experiences. Never again!

I have ordered from this place about 20 times. I'd say maybe 6 or 7 times the order is completely wrong and nothing has ever been done... except me not ordering from them anymore.

When the food was delivered the container was totally upside down and the dressing on the salad was all over the other food and drinks (and got to my clothing when I try to retrieve from the bag. This is not the first time where a delivery person did not take caution on carrying the food. Amish Market need to train the delivery people better.

Delivery is HORRIBLE, and half the time they call back saying they do not have what ordered.

No issues with the food. But if you don't have half your menu available, you probably should have that noted on the web. Also, if you are already delivering something I did not want to begin with, maybe it's a good idea to deliver it on time and not a good 20 min after your self-appointed delivery window. Never ordering from them again.

Reliable, fresh food and many varieties to choose from.

Great sandwiches (the Mona Lisa brick oven is the best!) and open later than most downtown restaurants - probably the best option for salads/sandwiches for those working late on the Street. Some of the highest quality to favorable prices anywhere in the city.

I love to go to Amish Market and pick out my food in person, but can't always get out for a lunch break. So I was thrilled when I saw they were on Seamless Web. In an area with not too many reliable lunch spots, Amish Market has something for everyone. I usually get the vegetarian taco bowl, which is huge and has tons of fillings - it barely fits in the to-go box, but have also had really good sushi and salad bar food there. I like that you can add groceries to your order, although I haven't tried yet. The food comes fast which is impressive because the in-person lunch rush is really big there. All of my orders have been fulfilled correctly.

The food is great...if it makes to your apartment remotely warm. My last order was supposed to be 25-30 minutes but actually arrived after an hour and of course was cold. Cold in March means cold, not room temperature, COLD.

The food here is AMAZING. I've tried everything from sandwiches, to crepes, to the pizza and it's alllll good! You must try the Bianca pizza - delish!! The delivery time is usually very quick and service is always friendly.

Incredibly well-priced and abundantly portioned. Haven't tried the sushi but most everything else. Quesadillas are awesome and I've loved every sandwich I've ever ordered. Delivery is reliable and fast.

The create your own salad is my go to for lunch. I typically go with the pick up since I work from home, it's a good excuse to get my butt out of the apt. They really hook up all the ingredients you order for your salad which are always fresh. There's typically a line during the lunch rush, but ordering on seamless I'm able to just walk to the register and pick up my lunch and get out the door in less than a minute.

Good value, food is decent sometimes a bit dry if you order at 8 or 9pm. Taco Salads are excellent value. Also nice to be able to order half and half.

The Parma Ham pizza was good but could do with more meat and aragula and fresh mozzarella. Just make sure you order before 8.15pm otherwise you will find they will tell you that the pizza oven is closed around 8.30-8.45pm or some other excuse...

Amish market does truly great gyro sandwiches and platters. They do decent burger, pizza, etc. so when my kids don't agree everyone can find something.

For the second time, the order was incorrect. Over and over again they have to call me because they don't have what I ordered. Always, there is something missing from the order. The food is wonderful - when you can get what you order. Most of the time the order is ruined by the incompetance.

didn't bother to deliver my order, claimed they left a message on my voicemail (the did not, and my phone is working just fine)

the last two times I've tried to order from the Amish market, then end up calling to tell me they don't have what I ordered!

Ordered Chicken Adana....it was cold and dry...no juice at all...almost as if it had been sitting around all day. Not happy...will go to Zaytuna next time.

We ordered pizza for a mtg. The pizza arrived lukewarm and no extra sauce provided (as requested). Also utensils and plates were not provided for the salads and pizza.
